Join us for the 41st annual Woodbury County Pheasants Forever Banquet. We are planning a steak dinner along with games, live auction and silent auction. Ticket prices are listed below. Tickets may be purchased from the chapter web site or from chapter board members.
Tickets must be purchased before February 27th. Limited ticket sale will be available at the door plus a $5.00 extra charge.

2025 Fishing Derby

Event: 2025 Fishing Derby
2025 annual Fishing Derby June 21, 2025.
Little Sioux Park in Correctionville Iowa. Come and enjoy a fun morning fishing. Kids can win prizes and enjoy a lunch provided for the family.
Registration will start at 9AM. There will be a short informational talk at this time. Fishing will be from outside the swimming heading towards the other end of the lake. We are not planning on using the other side of the lake.
Around 11AM we will have all person return to the little shelter for lunch and awarding prizes to the participants.

Youth Day

Event: Youth Day
2025 Youth day for kids 5-16. The day will have archery, BB gun target shooting, .22 cal rifle shooting, and trap shooting (participants in the trap shoot must bring their own shotgun shells). There will be awards for each of the events. Lunch will be provided at the end of the shooting time (about 1pm).
Please pre-register for this event as we would like to have enough food for everyone attending and their parents and guardians.

Youth Mentor Hunt

Event: Youth Mentor Hunt
Youth Mentor hunt is for kids age 12-15 years of age. Each youngster will be with one mentor to ensure safety in the field and will give tips on shooting if need be. We will be hunting over pointing and flushing dogs for this event.
The hunt is limited to the first 15 kids that sign up. The hunters must have passed the Iowa Hunter Safety course and have the certificate with them. Hunters will provide their own shotguns and ammunition. Lunch will be served after the hunt is completed. A parent or guardian must be present with each child.

Ice Fishing Derby
Ice fishing derby is TBD . Bacon Creek park, Sioux City
Time: 10:00 AM till 12:00PM
Check in at the shelter house. Bring your own ice fishing rods if you have them. Some rods will be available if needed.
Hot Dogs will be provided along with hot chocolate to warm up with
